Why we started
Most communications agencies were built before search was the dominant channel.
Their org charts still reflect that. Press relations sits in one room, SEO sits in another, content sits in a third — and the strategy gets stitched together in a status meeting on Thursdays.
That structure made sense in 2008. It doesn’t make sense now.
Audiences don’t experience your brand in those silos. They Google a category, read a review, watch a creator break it down, listen to a podcast on the way to work, and click an affiliate link in a newsletter. The path is messy. The agency response shouldn’t be.
Sixerr Media exists because we believe a single integrated team — PR people who understand SEO, SEO people who understand earned media, content people who understand how both move the needle — produces better outcomes than three specialists yelling across a Slack channel.

Earned media is a search asset.
A feature in the right publication doesn’t just generate awareness — it passes authority, ranks for category keywords, and shows up when a buyer is comparing options. Treat it that way and the math changes.
Strategy before tactics.
Anyone can pitch a journalist or write a blog post. Fewer people can tell you which earned placements will actually move your rankings, or which podcasts your buyers actually listen to. We start with the question, not the deliverable.
Senior people on the work.
No three-tier account hierarchy where the partner pitches and an intern executes. The people you meet are the people doing the work.
Honest reporting.
If something didn’t land, we say so. If a tactic stopped working, we kill it. The goal isn’t to look good in the QBR. It’s to move your business.

Sixerr Media is a senior team with backgrounds in media relations, technical SEO, content strategy, and creator marketing. We’ve worked in-house and agency-side, at startups and at category leaders. We started this firm because we wanted to build the kind of communications partner we always wanted to hire and rarely could.
We stay small on purpose. Most of our clients have a direct line to a partner. The work doesn’t get handed off, and nothing gets lost in translation.
